GODWIN, John Frederick

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 23 November, 2019, aged 71 years. He will be sadly missed by all his family.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service of John are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Thursday, 5 December, 2019, at noon. Family flowers only. GOULD, Florence Ada (Stevie)

Jennifer, Richard and families would like to thank all who sent cards and messages, and all who attended the funeral of our Mum, with a special thanks to Pastor Drew Waller for a lovely service. We would also like to thank all the carers from Palm Springs and Tutela Care Agency, and Odette from Jersey Hospice for their kindness to our Mum. SMITH, Terence (Terry)

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Plèmont Ward in the General Hospital on Friday, 22 November, 2019, aged 84 years, beloved husband of Pru for 46 years, loving father of Myles, Ryan and Aaron, dearest father-in-law of Jo and Bex, proud grandfather of Elwood, Tiffany, Leo, Elliott and Genevieve. The family wish to thank the Renal Unit team and staff on Plèmont Ward for all their care and attention shown to Terry. A private cremation will take place as per Terry’s wish. Ken, Malcolm, Martin, Kathleen and Graham would like to thank everyone who attended Mums funeral service. Thanks also for all the support, cards of condolence, flowers and kind messages. To a dear friend, Those special memories of you will always make me smile, If only I could have you back, for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again, just like we used to do, You always meant so much to me, and always will do too. The fact that you’re no longer here, will always cause me pain, But you’re forever in my heart, until we meet again. My thoughts are with Nino, Gemma, Nicola and family at this very sad time.

VOWDEN, Maurice George (MO)

In the early hours of Saturday, 23 November, 2019, at Jersey Hospice, Mo finally admitted defeat against his 19-month brave and courageous battle against leukemia, with his loving wife Eileen and son Bradley at his bedside, they kissed him goodbye and allowed him to rest in peace and free of pain. Thank you for being such an amazing husband to Eileen, father to Brad, Grandpa to Izzie and Jack, father-in-law to Vanessa, brother, brother-in-law and wonderful friend to so many. God bless and RIP. JAMES, Joan Le Sueur

Colin, Alan and Carol would like to thank everyone who Telephoned, sent cards and messages of sympathy and for the kindness shown to us in the loss of a beloved partner and much-loved Mum. Special thanks to Dr Stephen Perchard and Dr Mark Fullerton at Health Plus for ensuring Mum always received the finest medical care. Our grateful thanks to Jo and all the nurses from Family Nursing & Home Care who came to look after Mum over the years. Particular thanks to Mrs Agnetta Nerac at Overdale Hospital and to Karen from Karens Care Agency together with her team of carers for the wonderful care they gave Mum over the past five years. Your dedication is truly humbling and words cannot express our gratitude. Thanks to all who attended the service, with special thanks to Reverend Peter Dyson for leading the service so beautifully, organist Ian MacFeeters and Cooke’s Roses for the beautiful floral tributes. Finally, our sincere thanks to Paul, Gareth and everyone at Pitcher & Le Quesne for the kind, supportive and professional manner in which they guided us through all aspects of the funeral arrangements.
