WARD, Peter

Sadly passed away on Wednesday, 18 March, 2020, in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, aged 73 years. Beloved partner of 24 years to Lesley, loved by Kelly, Michael and all our families, adored ‘Pee Pee’ of Amelia and Samuel.

Rest in peace.

Funeral Service

Due to the current situation of Coronavirus, a private family service will take place, and a date set in the future for a memorial service.

Derek, Adriana, Caspar and Damien would like to thank all those who attended Maggie’s funeral and the senders of over 100 cards and letters which were gratefully received. Thanks to Canon Tim Neill who conducted a lovely service and also to Pitcher & Le Quesne for their help and advice.

FUNERAL CANCELLATION, DWYER, Elizabeth (Lily)

Due to the present circumstances, Lily’s family wish to advise of the cancellation of her funeral service.

This was due to take place at Our Lady Catholic Church, St Martin, on Tuesday, 24 March at 9.30 am.

A private service will now take place.

There will be a memorial service arranged on a suitable date, details will be provided.

The family are grateful for the understanding of people at this time as they follow medical and church advice to maximize health precautions for relatives and friends.

QUEMARD,, Myles Hayden

Passed away on Friday, 13 March, 2020, aged 22 years, beloved son of David and Vicky, brother to Alex, Cameron and Andre. His gentle nature and lovely smile will be greatly missed.

Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, a private cremation will soon take place, and a celebration of life memorial gathering will be held later in the year when circumstances allow.

Funeral Service

Due to government health restrictions relating to COVID-19, a brief, private ceremony (immediate family only) will be held at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Tuesday, 24 March.

Given the current circumstances, and in the absence of a public service, we kindly ask that you do not send flowers. In place of flowers, Jenny would have liked you to consider donating to one of the following: Jersey Parkinson’s Disease Society, Jersey Family Nursing & Home Care or Jersey Hospice Care.

Please note, that due to all services being suspended at the Island’s churches, the following funerals have changed to private family services:

The late Mr Bob Touzel – No longer a service at St Peter’s Parish Church on Tuesday, 24 March.

The Late Mr Frank Mackin – No longer a service at St Matthieu Catholic Church on Friday, 27 March.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
