WILLS, Neil William

Passed away peacefully in the care of Jersey Hospice on Tuesday, 17 March, 2020, aged 71 years. Greatly loved husband of Angela, adored Dad of Jo and Chris. Neil will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Always remembered and in our thoughts.

Funeral Service

A private funeral service will take place, followed by a service of remembrance in the Meadow Churchyard at St Clement’s Church on Tuesday, 31 March at 2 pm.

Friends and family all welcome to the meadow.

FUNERAL CANCELLATION, CARR, Sheelagh Winifred

Due to the present circumstances, Sheelagh’s family wish to advise of the cancellation of her funeral service.

This was due to take place at the Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday, 25 March at 10.45 am.

Rosemary, Alan, Marion and all the family wish to thank everyone who attended Charles’s funeral service. Special thanks must go to Deacon Tony Ward for conducting the service, the funeral singers and to all who sent donations to Jersey Cancer Research. Thanks especially to Maison La Corderie, the General Hospital and Overdale Hospital, who all looked after Charles with such care. EARNSHAW, Dorothy (Dot)

Former St Brelade resident and head seamstress at Jersey General Hospital before moving to the mainland, passed away peacefully at her home in Nottingham on Friday, 21 February, 2020, aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Robert Earnshaw (musician Bob Shaw at the Grand Hotel), loving mother to David, grandmother to Lauren and Frankie, and great-grandmother to Arliah. Will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Passed away peacefully at the hospice, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, 15 March, 2020, aged 75 years, devoted husband of the late Cara, a loving brother, uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle who will be sadly missed.

A private family funeral will take place, followed at a later date by a memorial to celebrate John’s life.

ILLINGWORTH, Brian

Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, 15 March, 2020, aged 85 years, beloved husband for nearly 63 years of Irene Renouf Illingworth (née Robins), loving father of Julie and the late Michael, father-in-law to Derek, doting grandfather of Chris and Kayleigh, also, he was a respected family member and friend to Sophie, Darren and Gillian Journeaux. He will be greatly missed by all.

Due to the Coronavirus, a private family burial will be taking place, and a date for a church memorial service and wake will be announced later in the year.
