CAUVIN, Dorothy

Sandra, Jo, Sarah and family wish to thank everyone for the kindness shown in the loss of a much-loved, wonderful Mum and Nan. Thank you to all the many friends who sent cards or messages; we have been so overwhelmed by the kind words, it really has been a great comfort to us all. Special thanks for the wonderful care that was given to Dorothy whilst she was at Beaumont Villa, especially during her last weeks. The dedication of the carers was amazing, we don’t want to try and name everyone for fear of leaving anyone out, but you were all so wonderful. Words cannot express our gratitude. One person we must mention is Riccardo, who even came in on his days off to look after her. We will never forget how Dorothy adored you. Thanks to all our family and friends who attended the service, and special thanks to Rev Jenny Pathmarajah who led the service so beautifully and read the tribute. To Mary Moody who read the lovely poem, Alan Mollet for playing the organ and to the Funeral Choir. Thanks also to all who have kindly sent donations to Jersey Alzheimer’s Association. Finally, to Julian de la Cour from Maillard’s Funeral Directors for his organising, advice and kindness, it was so special to have Julian, who knew the family, and who ensured that everything went smoothly.

HAYWARD, Nicholas George

The extended family of the late Nicholas George Hayward (Nick, Le Chef), would like to thank most sincerely, all those who sympathised with them on their great loss. Heartfelt thanks to the many friends, colleagues, neighbours and well-wishers who attended the celebration of Nick’s life and who provided emotional and practical support at this difficult time. For those who called, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolence and made donations in Nick’s memory, the family are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to all the doctors and nursing staff for their kind and professional care at all times, and to Pitcher & Le Quesne for their sensitive and professional support and service. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made the family’s loss more bearable, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of their deepest gratitude.
