BAUDAINS, Ruth Margaret (Deacon)

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 29 October, 2019, aged 86 years, daughter of the late Thomas and Florence, sister of Barbara and the late Gwen, Dulcie and Beryl. WILLIS, Adrian Alexander

Passed away with his wife and daughters by his side on Sunday, 27 October, 2019, in the loving care of Jersey Hospice, aged 73 years, he fought bravely to the end. He will be forever missed by his wife Joanne, daughters Amanda and Julie, twin brother Martin and all their families. A private funeral will be held. Family flowers only. HUELIN, Michael Charles

A memorial service to celebrate Michael’s life is to be held at noon on Friday, 8 November at Philadelthie Chapel, St Peter. All family and friends welcome.

JAMES, Arnold Ernest Leonard (Jim)

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, 29 October, 2019, in his 97th year, companion of Phyllis. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral of Jim are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Thursday, 7 November at noon. Family flowers only. Marlene and Chris would like to thank all their family and friends who Telephoned, sent cards, flowers, messages and offered support in relation to the sad loss of Dad. Also to all those who attended the service of celebration of Dad’s life, and for the donations to the Jersey Alzheimer’s Association in his memory. Particular thanks to the following:- the wonderful caring staff at Beaumont Villa who looked after Dad so well during his time there, the doctors from Indigo Medical who attended to his medical needs over the years, especially the now retired John Howell, Deacon Nick Le Cornu for conducting the service, Gerry, Peter and Maria for their contributions during the service, Clive Cooper for playing the organ, and the choir from St Mattheiu’s for their wonderful singing. Marian of Oasis Flowers for the beautiful floral tribute, Kim and her staff at the Farm House for providing such a lovely buffet, the Honorary Police from St Lawrence and St Peter for directing the traffic, and the Sexton from St Mary’s for the necessary work ahead and after the burial. Finally, to Mark and his team at Maillard’s for their advice and assistance, and the professional manner in which they directed us in all aspects of the arrangements, and the respectful way in which they took care of Dad.

NOLAN, Audrey

Clive and Madeleine wish to personally thank Ken of De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for his guidance and help in arranging Audrey’s funeral, and for introducing us to Reverend Debbie Poole who conducted a beautiful service. Audrey would definitely have approved. To all at Palm Springs Nursing Home for the care and attention they gave Audrey during her stay with them, and finally, a big thank you to Sir Philip Bailhache for his warm and touching eulogy which conveyed both historically and humanely, why dear Audrey was regarded by relatives, her many friends and ex-colleagues as a truly remarkable lady.

LE BRETON, Eunice Mary

The Le Breton family wishes to thank everyone who sent the many cards or messages of sympathy which have been a great comfort to us, and for the kindness shown in the loss of a much-loved Mum and Nan. Special thanks to all the staff at Jeanne Jugan residential home for the wonderful care that was given to Mum, especially during her last weeks. The dedication of the nurses and carers is truly amazing and words cannot express our gratitude. Thanks to all who attended the service, with special thanks to Rev Tony Morling for leading the service so beautifully, Peter Germain for the tribute, organist Nance Hicklin, Dierdre Le Breton for the lovely floral arrangement, and the team of friends who served refreshments afterwards. Finally, thanks to Julian de la Cour from Maillard’s, Funeral Directors for his kindness.

The most devoted and loving aunty, Godmother and confident to Claire, respected and much-loved ‘Aunty’ to Jacqui, and very special friend to Oskar.
