Trevor, Andrew and families would like to thank everyone for attending Jean’s funeral service and for all the cards and calls of condolence. Thanks also to all those who donated to Jersey Hospice Care in her memory. Over nearly 10 years of care, our profound thanks are due to Dr Amanda Jones of the Oncology department and to Dr Frank as her GP over many years. Latterly, Tina Hairon at the Diabetic Clinic and Sinead O’Connor of Cardiology for their compassion and professionalism together with the Family Nursing & Home Care team for always being there. A special thank you is due to Sister Frances and the team at Little Sisters of the Poor who were absolutely marvellous in making Mum’s last couple of months as comfortable and dignified as possible. Finally, thank you to Reverend Maureen Turner for conducting the funeral service, Alan Mollet for playing the organ and especially, Alicia of Maillard’s for making the funeral arrangements as straight forward as possible.
