Passed away after a long illness bravely borne at Jersey Hospice Care on Thursday, 25 July, 2019, much cherished and much-loved Mum to Lyndsay. ‘In heaven dear Mum, I’ll find you, When God’s great work is done, I shall stand once more beside you, When it’s time for me to come. ‘Reunited with her beloved late husband Chris, very much-loved sister-in-law to Catherine, Kirk, Terry, Penny and Marguerite. ‘The golden gates stood open, God saw you needed a rest, His garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. ‘She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends in Jersey and Australia. Huge thanks must go to Bournemouth Hospital, Southampton Hospital, Jersey Oncology, Family Nursing, Jersey Hospice, Dr Chris Mattock and Dr Nigel Stevens for all their amazing care and support. Many who knew my mother, knew she didn’t like a lot of fuss, and in accordance with her wishes, a private cremation has now taken place. A celebration of her life, will be held at a later date. Passed away peacefully on Friday, 26 July, 2019, cherished memories of a dearly loved sister from children to adults. We had a lot of happy times over the years and I will miss you. Gone from our lives but will remain in our hearts always, Rest in peace.
