Martin and family would like to thank everyone who attended Bernice’s funeral, and those who travelled from England and Ireland. A special thank you for the cards and messages of condolence, to David Lister for conducting a very relaxing service, to Lorraine at Hospice Care, and all the nurses at Family Nursing & Home Care who helped to make Bernice comfortable, especially Trish in the final days. To all the respiratory team who helped with Bernice’s illness, To Dr Kayleigh Vickers for all the care she carried out, it was brilliant. To the Hotel Ambassadeur for providing the catering and finally, to Paul Battrick MBE and the team at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their professionalism. A grateful thank you to all.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the General Hospital on Thursday, 15 August, 2019, aged 75 years, much-loved husband of the late Janette, father to Mark and Sue, grandfather of Marcus and Megan, brother to Joan, father-in-law to Ann. He will be missed by all. Finally at peace with Janette.
