Passed away in his 79th year on Friday, 21 June, 2019, at Lakeside Manor with his loving family by his side, beloved husband of Catherine, loving father to Paul, Jane, Teresa and Sarah, father-in-law to Rob and Simon, much-loved Grandad to Leah, Ben, Rachel and Alex. CULSHAW, Derek Roy

Margaret, James and family would like to thank everyone who attended Derek’s funeral, sent cards and letters of condolence and made donations to Alzheimer’s. Special thanks to the people who cared for Derek during his eleven years with Dementia: Dr Melendez and Diane of the memory clinic, Doctor Mandy Du Feu and Dr Lizzie Guise, Karen’s Care Agency, especially Karen and Wendy. Our super social worker Elaine Jackson and Dr Guy our psychiatrist, the wonderful care given by staff at Beaumont Villa, and Tracy, our wonderful Hospice nurse. Last but not least, to the staff and helpers at Alzheimer’s charity for putting on the art, musical memories and many more activities over the years. Thank you to Maillard’s Funeral Directors, Rev Jenny Pathmarajah, Organist Clive Cooper and Les Falle for making the service so personal to Derek.

REYNOLDS, Sidney George

WHITE, Charlie

Pauline would like to thank both family and friends for their love and support, and for the many cards and messages, visits and phone calls after the sudden, unexpected loss of Charlie. Also thanks to the wind surfing friends for the great send off they gave him at Bel Royal. Lovely meeting everyone and hope you will all pop round to share memories. Special thanks to Steve Romeril for his support and hours spent sorting out his sailing kit, it’s so much appreciated. Lastly, thanks to those who donated to the Jersey Lifeboat Association.

ENGLEMAN, Michael

Eileen, Richard and Claire would like to thank friends who sent cards, letters and flowers to help us through the sad time of losing Michael. We would particularly like to thank Gentle Care Agency, all the doctors, nurses and therapists at Overdale Hospital, the staff at Jersey Hospice, paramedics and staff at A & E, the Motor Neurone Association and GP Richard Brown for all their support, allowing Michael to remain at home during his final journey. Thank you to the Rev Canon Tim Neill for leading Michael’s wonderful funeral, and to Ian Smith for an outstanding Eulogy. To Emma Keirle, organist and to John Shield for leading the singing of ‘Swing low, sweet chariot’. To all our wonderful friends, extended family and St Mary’s Parish Church community who supported us in the last few months, without whom, Michael would have been unable to continue to live his life to the full. A very special thank you to Paul Battrick MBE and the team at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their professionalism, guidance and support during this difficult time, and to Vicki Perchard who organised the wake at the JRFC. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 18 June, 2019, aged 94 years. Colin is missed terribly by his wife Sandra, son and daughter Darry and Kim, daughter and son-in-law Fiona and Peter, and grandchildren Harrison, Scarlett and Jayden.
