ROBINSON, Colin

Charismatic officer who served in the Canadian Merchant Navy during the Second World War, has died aged 94 years. In a life of mixed fortunes, he was an electrical engineer and a builder of Canadian airplanes with a passion for foreign languages, a dashing figure in Jersey society, and an eminent hotelier. For decades, Colin Robinson presented in dapper attire, an enjoyer of fine cigars, good brandy and a contributor to many animal charities. He will be remembered for his achievements and his kind demeanour.

Family and friends wishing to attend Colin’s funeral service are invited to the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Wednesday, 3 July at noon. Family flowers only please. Sadly passed away in the care of Jersey Hospice Care, with her loving family by her side on Monday, 17 June, 2019, loving wife of Jim and Mum to Niamh and Harry. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

WALDRON, Stella (née Anderton)

Of Shamley Green and previously St Clement, Jersey, died peacefully on Saturday, 8 June, 2019, aged 63 years, much-loved wife, daughter, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of her life will take place at Shamley Green Parish Church on Monday, 24 June at 2 pm. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory, will be warmly received by The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham and Christ Church, Shamley Green.

HELLIO, Francis

Didier, Christine and family would like to thank everyone who has visited, sent messages, cards and flowers to help us through this sad time of losing Francis. To everyone who attended the church service or who have made donations to the Jersey Blind Society.
