LE HÉRISSIER, Brian Victor

11. 05. 1945 – 18. 06. 2019. You finally made it!! Vader wants to know – What do you think of it so far?!After 10 years of fighting, struggling, never giving up whilst maintaining a wicked sense of humour, you allowed yourself to let go on Tuesday, 18 June, 2019, with a gentle final breath, with your close family around you. You fought the good fight and were a loyal, generous friend and touched the lives of so many through work, table tennis, motorbiking, the Masons, St John Ambulance Cadets, Rozel Rovers, the list goes on. You were never happier than in your home that you proudly built on Le Hérissier land going back several generations, with a glass of red, Marley the cat on your JEP, Radio 4 blaring in the background and your family around you. You left a lasting legacy by raising two strong, independent women – Annie and Michelle, who are so proud to call you their father. You leave behind Pat, your dedicated wife, who misses your presence daily. You also leave two grandchildren – Aimeé and Johnny, who only recently got to know you and your sense of humour but who came to love you dearly as we all did, and a loving, strong, supportive son-in-law, Mike. And of course, you leave Marley the cat, who is a little lost as he no longer has anyone to fight with. Out of respect for Brian’s wishes, a private funeral was held at the Crematorium yesterday.
