Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 5 August, 2025. Marlon was the rock of our family, a loving husband to Fiona, and a cherished father to Lauren and Olivia, and dedicated step-father to Josh. He was a doting grandfather to Mason and Maya, a dear son, brother, uncle and a cherished friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Service
Family and friends wishing to attend a service of celebration for the life of Marlon are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel on Thursday, 28 August, at 11.30 am.
Dress code, whatever you’re comfortable in.

Grahame, Emma and Tom would like to thank everyone for the beautiful cards, letters and flowers sent offering condolences and sharing memories of Nicky. A big thank you to Drs David Bailey and Alex McCullough for being with her at the beginning and end of her brave journey. To the Oncology department at the General Hospital and Dr Kathy Gillies and Carol Bisson and Kate Fitzpatrick of Macmillan who held Nicky’s hand on so many occasions. The special care shown by the Hospice Palliative Care, doctors, nurses and HCAs meant Nicky’s last few months were spent in a loving and peaceful place for all the family. A big thank you to everyone who came to the Crematorium Chapel to celebrate Nicky’s life. Special thanks to Lalla for looking after Nicky and leading the service and to Julie, Serena and Jenny for their readings. A big thank you to Mark and all the staff at Maillards for their support, kindness and professional help with the funeral arrangements. Finally our thanks to everyone who made a donation to Macmillan Jersey and Jersey Hospice Care.

Cynthia and family wish to thank all who attended Peter’s funeral. Special thanks to Julie Wildbore-Hands who conducted such a meaningful service, Alan Mollett the organist, Mick Jehan for organising the transport of Peter’s coffin on his trailer along with the tractor boys who followed in procession, and the many JCVC members who brought their classic cars. Peter would have been so touched by the lovely send off. A big thank you to all who sent cards, letters, emails and made phone calls and to those who donated to Jersey Hospice in Peter’s memory. Finally a huge thank you to Simon Dodkins and his team at Maillards for organising and liaising with everyone to ensure the funeral arrangements of Peter ran so smoothly.
