Of Jersey’s David Place Medical Practice and Health Plus, passed away on Wednesday, 21 August, 2019, aged 74 years, beloved husband of Henrietta, father to Simon, Stephen and John Paul, Grandpa to Hannah, Daniel, Matthew, Robert, Angharad, Elinor, Clara, and beloved brother to Anthony, Caroline and Paul. Our many lovely friends will miss Michael at home in Jersey, and abroad in Africa.

Family and friends wishing to attend Michael’s service of celebration are invited to the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Friday, 30 August at noon. Family flowers only please. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 22 August, 2019, in the tender care of Jersey Hospice, devoted husband of Rosemary, loving father of Richard and Jane and father-in-law of Tony, adoring grandfather of Emma, Alex, Henry, William, Ellie and the late Ella. Martin and family would like to thank everyone who attended Bernice’s funeral, and those who travelled from England and Ireland. A special thank you for the cards and messages of condolence, to David Lister for conducting a very relaxing service, to Lorraine at Hospice Care, and all the nurses at Family Nursing & Home Care who helped to make Bernice comfortable, especially Trish in the final days. To all the respiratory team who helped with Bernice’s illness, To Dr Kayleigh Vickers for all the care she carried out, it was brilliant. To the Hotel Ambassadeur for providing the catering and finally, to Paul Battrick MBE and the team at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their professionalism. A grateful thank you to all.
