Many thanks to Pitcher & Le Quesne for the caring way they have dealt with the arrangements for Violet’s (Vi’s) funeral. Also many thanks to her niece Tina, her cousin Ruth and her lifetime friends June and Belinda, who were always a big part of her life. Not forgetting all her family and friends. A special thanks to brother David Carpenter who led the service, and to his wife Elizabeth, who both loyally stood alongside me to help fulfill all of Vi’s funeral wishes. Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Tuesday, 5 February, 2019, in his 90th year, loved and loving husband of Mavis, father of Terry, grandfather of Emily and John and father-in-law of Alice.
