Margaret Bella Bertram née England

The family would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral service at Grouville Parish Church to celebrate the life of Margaret. A big thank you to everyone who sent lovely cards and messages of condolence and donations to the Jersey Ostomy Society in Margaret’s memory. The support given by Rev Mike Lange-Smith was much appreciated as well as the lovely service he conducted. Thank you also to the Organist, Clive Cooper, and the Funeral Choir. A special thank you to Dr Sean Ryan for his care of Margaret over the last few years, and to the wonderful staff on Plemont Ward at the General Hospital, for the care and compassion shown to Margaret. Finally our grateful thanks to Mark Burke of Maillard’s Funeral Directors for his help and guidance throughout this very difficult time.

Angelo and family would like to offer their thanks to the many people who attended Phyllis’s funeral. We were overwhelmed by the support and appreciate all the flowers, cards and messages received. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the Little Sisters on Thursday, 28 February, 2019, aged 89 years, beloved wife of the late Peter, devoted Mum of Jeremy and Justin, mother-in-law of Mary and Nina, Grandma of Sara, Lee and Kim and a loving great-Grandma. Passed away suddenly at the General Hospital on Thursday, 28 February, 2019, aged 91 years, beloved husband of the late Mary, loving companion to Joy, much-loved father to Carlton. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
