GALLICHAN, Gladys (née Perchard)

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on the night of Tuesday, 22 January, 2019, in the tender care of Ronceray Care Home, dearly loved wife of the late Charles and loving mother and mother-in-law of Nancy, Derek, Charles and Elizabeth, a devoted and beloved grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

SIMON, Lloyd King

Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Jersey General Hospital on Sunday, 27 January, 2019, aged 97 years, beloved husband of Ivy, much-loved father of Ralph and Trevor, loving grandfather of Kyle and Calli. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Lloyd are invited to meet at St Martin’s Methodist Chapel, Rue Belin, St Martin on Friday, 8 February at noon, followed by a private family burial. WELLMAN, Basil Foster

Andy, Dave and their families wish to thank all those who attended Basil’s funeral, and to everyone who sent the many lovely cards, messages and letters. Thank you to those who sent donations to the JSPCA and a special thanks to the Rev Jenny Pathmarajah for her support and for making the service at the Crematorium such a personal and meaningful celebration of Basil’s life. Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on Saturday, 26 January, 2019, aged 99 years, devoted husband to Dorothy for 77 years, much-loved Dad to Malcolm, Ann and Peter and cherished Grandpa to his eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
