BERTRAM, Margaret Bella (née England)

Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Friday, 1 February, 2019, aged 97 years, beloved wife of the late John Robert Bertram, sister of Mandy, sister-in-law to John McIntosh and Millie Bertram. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.

Relatives and friends wishing to celebrate Margaret’s life are invited to attend Grouville Parish Church at 2 pm on Tuesday, 12 February. Family flowers only. Passed away peacefully in the tender care of the General Hospital on Friday, 1 February, 2019, now reunited with her beloved husband John. She will be sadly missed by Millie, John, Wendy and Will, and Jane and Kevin.

Passed peacefully away at home on Monday, 4 February, 2019, aged 97 years, surrounded by his loving family, devoted husband to Alice, father to David and Gloria, father-in-law to Carolyn and Noel, grandfather and great-grandfather. June and family would like to thank everybody who attended the funeral service at St Peter’s Parish Church, along with special gratitude to Father Michael Phillips who conducted the service with great passion, both in Church and at the Crematorium. Also, many thanks to Malcolm L’Amy for his musical arrangement, I am sure Terry would have approved with great applause. To Alicia our Funeral Director, and all the team at Maillard’s who led us every step of the way with much professionalism, we thank you. Finally, thank you most sincerely to all who sent cards, and to the Hospice ‘angels’ who were there with me and all the family right to the end.

Jack, Rosemary and Bruce would like to thank everyone who attended Lallie’s service at the Crematorium, sent cards and messages of condolence. We would like to thank our family and friends for their support at this difficult time. Grateful thanks to Sue Noble for conducting a lovely service in Lallie’s memory. Special thanks to Dr Gareth Hughes and Dr Andy Vincent for their continued care of Lallie over the years. Dave and Kath’s family would like to thank everyone for their support during Kath’s short illness and the messages of sympathy received follow her passing.
