MORTON, Annette

Tony and daughters would like to thank family and friends who attended Annette’s funeral and for the very many cards and messages of condolence. Also to Reverend Bill Matthews for a beautiful service, many thanks to Annette’s GP Dr Richard Worth, Emily Churchill and all the team at Hospice Day Care, Janine Borny from Motor Neurone, the staff and volunteers from Jersey Alzheimer’s and all the many people at Overdale Hospital who helped Annette through her final months with us. Very special thanks to Trish Williams from Speech Therapy who went far beyond her brief to help Annette, and finally, thanks to Nigel Coutanche and the staff at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for organising a very well run service.

CHALL, Doreen Olive (née Jehan)

Passed peacefully away at Sandybrook Residential Home on Thursday, 29 November, 2018, beloved wife of Basil for 64 years, devoted and much-loved sister and aunt. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

COOIL, David James

Passed away suddenly at his home on the evening of Thursday, 29 November, 2018, aged 51 years, a devoted, cherished husband to his wife Elizabeth and a doting, proud Dad to Sammy, a treasured son to Roy and Audrey, a loving brother to his sister Lorna and her family, Justin, Bradley and Charlotte, a caring son-in-law to Ann and true-hearted friend to his brother-in-law, Iain. David was a faithful, caring, loyal and thoughtful friend to all. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends in Jersey, the Isle of Man, France and worldwide, along with his close-knit family community at Dandara and the people whose lives he never failed to touch.

Passed away peacefully at Jersey Hospice on Monday, 3 December, 2018, aged 70 years, with his loving family at his side, devoted husband of Gloria, loving Dad and father-in-law of Sarah, Martin, Hayley, Chris and Nicola, adored Papa of Chloe, Alex, Ben, Amber and Joseph. LE GARSMEUR, Adrien Eugene

Passed away peacefully on Monday, 3 December, 2018, in his 93rd year, husband of the late Gladys and Thelma, much-loved Dad of Anne, Paul and the late Caroline, step-Dad to Stephen, Grandpa to Linda and Bryan, great-Grandad to Alex, Ruby, Isla, Christopher and Stephen. BECHELET Harold Walter

Monica, Linda, Peter and family would like to thank everyone who came to the thanksgiving service for Harold’s life. Thank you all for the many cards, flowers, phone calls and those who made donations. Special thanks to Mr Pai and all the fantastic nurses and doctors in ICU, who cared for Harold for a month. Special thanks must also go to Dr Sean Ryan for all his care for Harold over many years. We would also like to say a big thank you to the following people, Brian Vibert for a beautiful service, Clive Cooper for playing the organ, and to Mark Burke and everyone at Maillards for their exceptional compassion and professionalism with all the funeral arrangements. Thank you also to Graeme Fitchett, Beryl Harrison, Janet Taylor and Helen Oliver for their participation at the funeral service and last, but not least a big hug to Archie for his beautiful reading of the poem to his Papa.
