Dearest Aunty, I have been blessed that you were like a second Mum to me for such a long time, your tenacity and spirit were phenomenal. Jack and I thank you for so many wonderful memories. Rest in peace my darling Xxx. Special thanks to Sister Kelly and the team at St Ewolds.

PALLOT, Barbara Joan

Barbara’s family would like to thank everyone who sent cards of condolence and attended her funeral. Special thanks to Nick Cabot and the wonderful church choir for singing all the music Mum requested, and to Reverend Canon Geoff Houghton for conducting a service that was truly a celebration of her life. Thanks to Clifton Nursing Home for their excellent care, Mum was very happy there. Thanks to Dr Nigel Minihane for looking after Mum in the last years of her life. Many thanks to Paul Battrick from Pitcher & Le Quesne for helping us organise exactly what Mum wanted. She was a very special Mum, aunt and friend who will be very sadly missed.

Passed away peacefully at St Ewolds Residential Home, with her family at her side on Sunday, 25 November, 2018, aged 82 years, loving wife to the late Taffy and much-loved Mum to Glyn and Nan of Felix.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road on Thursday, 6 December at noon. At Gloria’s request, please wear colourful clothing. COOK, Lady Bridget Brenda (née Lynch)

Died peacefully at home in Jersey, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, 25 November, 2018, aged 97 years, beloved wife of the late Sir Francis. A requiem mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St Aubin on Wednesday, 12 December at 1 pm, followed by private committal. Family flowers only. Passed away peacefully after a long illness bravely borne, in the care of Clifton Care Home, on Saturday, 24 November, 2018, aged 98 years, much-loved wife of the late Stanley Winter Poignand, adored mother or Margery, Wilson and Rosemary, mother-in-law to Bernard (Bernie) and Mick, grandmother to James, Richard and families, great-grandmother to Byron. She will be sadly missed.
