HENWOOD, Peter George

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Peter are invited to meet at St Lawrence Parish Church on Thursday, 6 December at 2 pm. A private cremation will follow. Brenda and family would like to thank everyone who came to the celebration of Peter’s life at the Crematorium. Thank you to everyone who sent cards, thank you to the staff on Corbière Ward, Jersey Hospice and Nuno and staff at Tutela for the care and compassion shown to Peter during his short illness. Thank you to Dr John Coates who looked after Peter over the years, to David Lister for conducting the celebration of Peter’s life and finally, thank you to Ken Browne from De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for the care and compassion shown to our family at this difficult time.

McLAUGHLIN, Margaret Rose (Maggie) (née Le Vesconte)

Passed away peacefully, aged 88 years, on Tuesday, 20 November, 2018, at St Ewold’s Care Home, with her family at her side, much-loved mother of Phil (Buster), Gordon and Ian (Muff), adored grandmother of Michelle, Lisa, Debbie, Tanya, Phil, Emily, Lily and James and great-grandmother to Callum, much-loved mother-in-law to Jan and Sarah. Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Monday, 26 November, 2018, aged 85 years, with her three loving children, Adrian, Nigel and Julia by her side, mother-in-law to Tracey and Denis, adored grandmother to Briony, Claire, Kelsey, Michelle and Sylvie. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Finally joining the love of her life, late husband Brian. With grateful thanks to all the staff of Plémont Ward. PALLOT, Barbara Joan

Barbara’s family would like to thank everyone who sent cards of condolence and attended her funeral. Special thanks to Nick Cabot and the wonderful church choir for singing all the music Mum requested, and to Reverend Canon Geoff Houghton for conducting a service that was truly a celebration of her life. Thanks to Clifton Nursing Home for their excellent care, Mum was very happy there. Thanks to Dr Nigel Minihane for looking after Mum in the last years of her life. Many thanks to Paul Battrick from Pitcher & Le Quesne for helping us organise exactly what Mum wanted. She was a very special Mum, aunt and friend who will be very sadly missed.
