Special thanks to Dr Chris Mattock and Dr Effie at Jersey Haematology Dept for caring for Eugene and giving him precious extra years with our family. To Sister Mags Harvey and all the nursing staff at Jersey Oncology for all their care but more importantly, for keeping Eugene smiling. To all the doctors and nurses at Jersey ICU for nursing Eugene and giving him those precious extra months with our family. To Paul and John of Pitcher & Le Quesne who were amazing, we can’t thank Paul enough for all his help with the funeral arrangements, and John for taking Eugene home. To all those who attended Eugene’s funeral service or sent cards or made donations to Friends of Jersey Oncology, we express our heartfelt thanks, as we do to Wally Cullinan for his reading, and Father Benjamin who made the service such a wonderful and special occasion. A big thank you to you all.
