Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 2 April, 2019, in her 90th year, loving mother of Christine, devoted Nan of Annette, Philip and Chris, adored great-Nan of Ella and Natalia. You will remain in our hearts forever, we love you x. Reunited with her beloved husband Ron. You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all she’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Jill, Lizzie and family would like to express their sincere thanks for all the love and support from their very kind friends and neighbours, to all who sent cards, letters and flowers and those who called offering endless support during this very sad time. A special thank you to Dr Nigel Stevens for his care, along with Dr Muscat, Dr Amar and his team of Alice and Debbie who helped us so much. We also thank the dedicated and kind staff at Southampton General and Jersey General Hospitals. We are so grateful to all the staff at Jersey Hospice Care for the wonderful way they cared for Christopher, showing such kindness and respect to him and all the family.
