Our thanks to Phil and Sarah who were by our side throughout, giving love and support. The practical help we received from Dan, Jess, Lianne and Emily was also extremely welcome and much-appreciated. Thank you to the many friends who attended Graham’s funeral service, the presence of our family and dear friends who travelled from Italy and the UK to attend was such a comfort to us. It was also especially touching to see the large number of jewellers who came to pay their respects to Graham. Many thanks to the Reverend David Shaw MBE, who conducted a very appropriate and uplifting service and was so accommodating to our wishes. Les Norman was a great friend to Graham and we would like to thank him for giving such an excellent and fitting eulogy. The Royal Yacht and Christine Hart provided a wonderful reception and we are grateful for Christine’s advice and assistance. Sincere thanks to Dr Rob Hurry, Graham’s friend and GP, who provided great care and helped him immeasurably over the years. Dr Daniel Albert also cared for Graham, and Dr Matthew Scaife was an invaluable help to us in the last week of Graham’s life. There are no words that can describe our gratitude to the nurses from Jersey Hospice and Family Nursing who cared for Graham with such compassion during his final days. Finally, we had tremendous support from Paul Battrick MBE of Pitcher & Le Quesne, who arranged and handled Graham’s funeral with such care, efficiency and professionalism. He and his team were so helpful and respectful during a very upsetting time.
