Interment follows in St Ouen’s Parish Cemetery. No flowers by request please. Vera died peacefully in her sleep on Portelet Ward at the General Hospital on Monday, 6 August, 2018. It was Vera’s wishes that her burial be private. Thanks to all of the staff at the Jersey General Hospital, Samarès Ward, Pinewood and Family Nursing & Home Care for Vera’s wonderful care. To Drs Simon Thompson and James Newton and staff at 7 David Place Surgery. Vera will be remembered for being such a wonderful person and we thank Marina for being such a dedicated friend. Thanks to everyone for the letters, cards and Telephone calls and support at this very difficult time. Vera’s request for donations is to the Special Care Baby Unit of the General Hospital.
