FALLE, Philip John MBE

Passed away at Jersey Hospice on Tuesday, 24 July, 2018, aged 76 years, dearly loved husband and devoted friend of Marion, loving father of Alison, Tracy, Richard and Justine, father-in-law of Paul, Emma and Geoff, proud Pépère of Harry, Katie and Laura, Victoria, Cerys, Thomas, Claudia and Helen. Philip will also be missed by Louise Piasecki, Andrew, Jo and Freddie Cadoret.

Philip’s funeral will take place on Thursday, 2 August at 1. 30 pm at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier. At Philip’s request, no mourning clothes please, bright clothing may be worn. SHALES, Arthur William George

Arthur’s wife Pam and the couple’s six daughters would like to thank all those who kindly attended the funeral service on 28 June, and thanks too, to those who sent floral tributes, messages of sympathy and cards and letters of condolence. Special thanks go to Rev Mark Bond who conducted the service, and to De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for their attention, consideration and care. Thanks are also due to the staff at Cheval Roc residential home, who did so much to care for Arthur during the last months of his life.

The nieces and nephews of the late Basil De Guelle would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral at the Crematorium, sent cards and floral tributes. CUTHBERT William (Bill) –

Jan, Ashlea and family do not have enough words to fully express their heartfelt thanks for all the cards, flowers and special messages that have been extended to them following the loss of Bill. Thank you to everyone who attended the funeral service to celebrate Bill’s life and to Henry Le Ruez for his support, advice and agreeing to conduct such a special service for us. Our gratitude and appreciation goes to the staff of Corbiere Ward at the General Hospital and to all the staff at Jersey Hospice Care. Special thanks goes to Dr Roelof Edelenbos of Lister Surgery for looking after Bill so brilliantly for so many years.
