LAGADOU, Helene Emma

Avril would like to thank everyone who was able to attend Helene’s funeral service and have sent me cards and those who have sent donations to auntie’s favourite charity Cancer Relief. Thank you to Father Francis Sasinowski, organist Clive Cooper and his choir for a beautiful service, just as my auntie had requested. Special thanks to Sister Frances, Sister Kathleen and all the wonderful nurses and carers at the Little Sisters of the Poor. Deep and sincere thanks to her loyal friends and neighbours who helped keep an eye on auntie while she, amazingly, lived alone in her little flat in St Peter up to only eight weeks before her passing at the age of 96. Auntie had the fight and determination to care for herself in her own home to the end but could not have done it without the care and compassion of many in her parish and, for that, I thank you all sincerely. Finally, a big thank you to Steve de St Croix and Maillard’s for their care and support in the arrangements.
