Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Jersey Hospice following a short illness borne with great dignity, surrounded by his devoted family, on Friday, 27 April, 2018, aged 79 years, beloved husband of Joan for 53 years, cherished father to Paul and Claire, treasured father-in-law to Alex and Lisa and all round superstar Grandad to Ellen, Amy, Grace and Sam. Zoë, Tracy and Kieron would like to thank everyone who sent their condolences, attended Dad’s funeral and to all who donated to Parkinson’s Jersey. A big thank you to Rev Gerry Baudains for such a lovely service, to Alan Mollet for playing the organ and to De Gruchy’s Funeral Care. He had a good send off. Thanks to the doctors, nurses and special health care assistants who took such good care of Dad during his short time in hospital. Finally, a special thank you to our children who travelled to Jersey to spend precious time with their Poppa during his stay in hospital and for supporting us.
