This is a message of regret, celebration and sympathy for Trisha as I knew her in my childhood.
Regret because we were really good mates when we were small, but we lost touch in the end. I wish I had tracked her down earlier, or her me.
Celebration because I think she was so much fun to be with and I know she still would be now.
Sympathy for her children, her friends and family too, who clearly miss her as well.
And just thanks for knowing you Trisha.
I have not got a single photo of her (we just didn’t did we?) but Trisha was always so pretty.
I would love to hear more about her life in Jersey and what her brothers are doing now.
So so sorry I didn’t see her lovely smile again.
Jude (I think I was a Judi when I was little) (née Carter).

Grateful thanks to Rev Beverley Sproats for conducting such a warm and compassionate service at St John’s Church and to Alan Mollet for his wonderful organ playing. We thank Constable Andy Jehan for allowing us the use of the Parish Hall for Alan’s wake and the Honorary Police for their assistance on the day of the funeral. Thank you to Harpers Catering for the excellent selection of food and drinks and for their highly professional service. We are enormously grateful to Cherie Le Maistre at Pitcher & Le Quesne for her endless patience in arranging Alan’s funeral so sensitively and seamlessly.
