FRAMPTON, Peter Harold

Passed away peacefully at Sandybrook Nursing Home on Saturday, 15 September, 2018, aged 86 years, formerly of Lantern Court, Queens Road, St Helier, husband of Angela Carver Frampton and previously Doreen Amy Frampton. WOOLFORD, Daphne Beatrice (née De Ste Croix)

Allan, Carolyn Ann and family would like to thank all their friends for their support, cards and messages of condolence at this difficult time. Thank you also to all who attended the most wonderful service led by Rev Jenny Pathmarajah at the Crematorium on Thursday, 23 August, to celebrate Daphne’s life and say their last goodbyes to this most wonderful and courageous, much-loved lady. Thanks are also extended to Lakeside Care Home for the care and attention to Daphne over the last four years, and special thanks are given to the most wonderful team of medical staff, especially the nurses on Corbière Ward and the hospital palliative care team, for their dedication and tender loving care to Daphne, and support to her family in her final days. Thank you to Gary Tye, Nigel Coutanche and their team at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for looking after the funeral arrangements with such care, attention to detail and sensitivity. Final thanks to all who sent donations to Eyecan, a charity close to the family’s heart. Your generous offerings are greatly appreciated.

PALLOT, David John

Passed away in Leicester on Saturday, 11 August, 2018, aged 72 years. David was the only child of David and Hilda Pallot (née Neale) and was brought up in Gorey Village, he attended Grouville School and Hautlieu, where he was Head Boy. He graduated with a degree in medicine from Bristol University and went on to become a Lecturer in Anatomy, first at Bristol and then at Leicester University. In 1991, he became a Professor, taking up the position of Chairman of Anatomy at Al Ain University in the United Arab Emirates. David was married to Sally and they had three sons.
