Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Monday, 26 November, 2018, aged 85 years, with her three loving children, Adrian, Nigel and Julia by her side, mother-in-law to Tracey and Denis, adored grandmother to Briony, Claire, Kelsey, Michelle and Sylvie. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Finally joining the love of her life, late husband Brian. With grateful thanks to all the staff of Plémont Ward. Barbara’s family would like to thank everyone who sent cards of condolence and attended her funeral. Special thanks to Nick Cabot and the wonderful church choir for singing all the music Mum requested, and to Reverend Canon Geoff Houghton for conducting a service that was truly a celebration of her life. Thanks to Clifton Nursing Home for their excellent care, Mum was very happy there. Thanks to Dr Nigel Minihane for looking after Mum in the last years of her life. Many thanks to Paul Battrick from Pitcher & Le Quesne for helping us organise exactly what Mum wanted. She was a very special Mum, aunt and friend who will be very sadly missed.
