ROBINS, Vera Violet

(Passed away peacefully, 06. 08. 18). Clifford wishes to thank his younger daughter Janice and her husband Nigel for their devotion and practical help, also the family members and friends who remained so loyal and supportive at this traumatic time. Thanks are also due to the very many who sent cards and letters of condolence which were so comforting. Thanks also to the ambulance paramedics, the General Hospital personnel who attended Vera at various times, the staff, occupational therapists and physiotherapists at Samares Ward Overdale, the staff at Karen’s Care Agency, the Community Social workers, and the Principal and staff of Pinewood Residential Home for their dedication. A committal ‘memorial’ service, ably led by the Rev Bill Matthews, was held at the graveside and I am indebted to the relatives and close friends who attended. Our Vera would have been so proud of this closure.

LAGADU, Clarence (Clarry)

In loving memory of a dear husband, father and grandfather who sadly passed away one year ago on 2 September, 2017. Loved and remembered today and every day. Sadly missed by Mary, Paul, Michael and family.

Passed away at home on the morning of Tuesday, 14 August, 2018. A private funeral was held at the request of Sylvia, on Wednesday, 22 August at the Crematorium. COLDWELL, Kathleen Laura (née Cheetham)

Passed away on Tuesday, 28 August, 2018, at the General Hospital, adored wife of the late Austin Coldwell, beloved mother of Kathryn and Diane, mother-in-law to David and the late Richard, beloved grandmother of James, Alexander, Joshua, Luke and the late Charles, adored great-grandmother of Imogen, Eleanor, Isabelle, Titus, Aelia, Oliver, Romilly, Freddie and Toby. Grateful thanks to Dr Brendan Loane and Dr Andrew Dickinson, thanks to the EAU team and the staff at Les Hoûmets Nursing Home.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Kathleen are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Friday, 7 September at noon. Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Jersey Hospice on Wednesday, 29 August, 2018, at the age of 86 years, devoted husband to Beryl, much-loved Dad to Julie and Karen, father-in-law to Gary and Papa to James, Luke and Emily. Brian will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
