Thank you for all the lovely cards and words of comfort, thank you to all who attended Steve’s funeral, the beautiful floral tributes and the donations to Cancer Relief. A special thank you to the members of the JARC and the Crescendos for their constant support and friendship to Steve during his illness, and for helping to make the funeral service so appropriate. Thank you to Clive Cooper and the Funeral Choir for the uplifting music and to Father Michael Philips for conducting a sensitive service in celebration of Steve’s life. Grateful thanks to everyone who helped Steve during his long illness; Dr Fullerton, the staff in Corbière Ward and the Oncology Departments in Jersey and Southampton, the eye clinic and the care and comfort by Hospice in his last few hours. It was all much-appreciated. Finally, thanks also to Steve de Ste Croix for conducting the arrangements in a compassionate and professional manner.
