Passed away after a short illness on Monday, 7 May, 2018, aged 78 years. She will be sadly missed by Tony, Debbie, Symon and extended family.

Passed away peacefully at Jersey Hospice Care on Thursday, 10 May, 2018, aged 66 years, much-loved brother of Sue, beloved uncle of Lauren, Robert and Matthew. Michel, Micheline and Christopher and all the family would like to thank all who attended Emily’s funeral service conducted so beautifully by Father Benjamin Theobald and Deacon Tony Ward at St Martin’s Catholic Church. Thanks to all who called, sent cards and who donated to Emily’s chosen charities. Special thanks are extended to Mother Superior Geraldine and all the Little Sisters and staff at the Jeanne Jugan Residence, for the love and tender care they gave to Mum over the past five years and to all the residents at the Home who extended their loving support and friendship to Mum. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for Mum over a long period of time and to those from Hospice, who called on Mum as her life drew to a peaceful end. Thank you to Theresa and James for reading so eloquently at Mum’s funeral, to organist Mrs Mazel Boleat and the Church Choir who sang the hymns Mum so wanted, to those who decorated the church and to Mrs Jo Walker and her team at the Moorings Hotel for looking after us all after the funeral. Finally, thanks to Mr Jerry Crow and his colleagues at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for the compassion and careful arrangements that ensured Mum’s funeral was as she wished. Love to you all.
