GILBERT, Edna Mavis

Much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Saturday, 31 March, 2018, aged 96 years, after a long illness. Edna was lovingly cared for by so many wonderful people at Ronceray Care Home and Clifton Care Home, also by Dr Nigel Stevens, Karen’s Carers and the hospice nurses. A private funeral has taken place.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 29 April, 2018, at St Mary’s Convent, Chiswick, aged 96 years, beloved daughter of John and Lillian Amy of St Martin and sister to Geoffrey and Gerald. Funeral details to follow later.

WALLSWORTH, Robert (Bob)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Jersey Hospice following a short illness borne with great dignity, surrounded by his devoted family, on Friday, 27 April, 2018, aged 79 years, beloved husband of Joan for 53 years, cherished father to Paul and Claire, treasured father-in-law to Alex and Lisa and all round superstar Grandad to Ellen, Amy, Grace and Sam. The Hospice day centre and nursing team and a special thanks to all the staff at the IPU, Jersey Hospice, whose care was truly inspirational.

George, Sarah, Rachel and family wish to thank all relatives, friends and colleagues who sympathised with them in their recent sad loss of Phyll, a lovely wife and mother. For all the Telephone calls, cards and beautiful flowers, also those who kindly donated to Family Nursing and Hospice. Special thanks to all the staff at the General Hospital, especially the nursing staff of Portelet Ward for the care and compassion they gave Phyll in her last weeks. To the wonderful district nurses of Family Nursing and to Dr Simon Bonn, who were such a help to Phyll. Thanks to all who attended the funeral service, to Tracy Le C Bromley for the beautiful service and to Paul Battrick of Pitcher & Le Quesne for the funeral arrangements. Once again, thanks to all.

KENNEDY, Michael Dermot

The family of Michael would like to thank all those who attended his funeral service and who sent cards and messages of condolence.
