Jean, Dulcie, David, Alan and Susan wish to thank most sincerely, all who sent cards, letters and messages of condolence, and to the many who attended Ken’s funeral service. Our heartfelt thanks to the cousins and all who gave prayer and practical support during Ken’s illness. Special thanks must go to Dr Christopher Cook, Dr Muzi Shah, Andrew Le Feuvre, Complete Individual Home Care, Family Nursing, Dr Nicky Bailhache and all the staff of Jersey Hospice Care. PRIEUR, Sister Ida
Sister Ida died at the Mother House of ‘Les Soeurs de la Sainte Famille d’Amiens’ in France on Friday, 10 November, 2017. Sister Ida served at the Sacré Coeur for 40 years from September, 1956 to August, 1996. During that time she cared for boys aged 5-15 years. In 2008 she left the Island to return to France because of ill health. Sister Ida dedicated her life to caring for children and she loved them all. She touched the lives of many former residents who will surely wish to pay tribute for her compassion and selfless devotion in caring for generations of children in Jersey. Her funeral will be held in France on Wednesday, 15 November.
