ONSLOW, Betty Lilian (née Sheehan)

Passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, 10 December, 2017, aged 82 years, much-loved wife of John, beloved mother of Jackie and husband Andy, adored Grandma of Michael, Kayley, Philip, Kerry and Dale, great-Grandma to Florence.

Carolyne, Allison, Joanna and David would like to thank friends, family and colleagues for their support and comforting messages over the past few months. A huge thank you to the many medical staff, especially Dr Nigel Stevens, the staff on Sorel ward, EAU, MDU, A&E and the many ambulance crews for their care and compassion, also to Edgar Dingle and his team at LV for their support over the past months. Special thanks to Vanda and Hilario, whose dedication over many years enabled John and Barbara to remain at home. Thank you to all those who attended the funeral services and Barbara’s memorial service. Our heartfelt thanks to Rev Tracy Le C Bromley for her kind, compassionate and moving services and to organists Jurat Tony Olsen and Dr John Taylor for playing so expertly. Thanks also to Rev David Shaw, Rev Martin Dryden and Sir Michael Birt for reading, to Simone Garton for singing, to Lorraine Determeyer, Vanda Goncalves and Jane Luce for the beautiful flowers, Carole Martin and her ladies for the tea and cakes at Caldwell Hall and a big thank you to everyone who made donations to the chosen charities.
