Sheila, Victor and family would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral of George and sent lovely cards and messages of condolence. Our heartfelt thanks to doctors at Cleveland Clinic also nursing staff and doctors at the General Hospital Corbière Ward for their care and attention. Our appreciation is also extended to Matron and staff at Maison La Corderie Residential Home for their care in looking after George and to Graeme Halls for his prayers and compassion. Thanks also to Andy Errington-Rennell and staff of Pitcher & Le Quesne for the funeral arrangements, and especially to Reverend Peter W Dyson for conducting a memorable funeral service and for his kindness at such a difficult time. We also thank the Parish of St Saviour Constable and staff for their assistance in allowing the parish hall to be used after the funeral service, and also thank Age Concern and the many clubs George belonged to. Our gratitude to all those who sent donations to Teenage Cancer Trust and Jersey Alzheimer’s Association.
