My sincere thanks must go to JP and family for the loving support given by them over many years to both Ollie and I. I wish to thank all of Ollie’s friends for the support, help and attendance at his funeral. Thanks to all friends who Telephoned, sent letters and cards of condolence and sent donations to Jersey Hospice Care in memory of Ollie, this was very much appreciated. I also wish to thank all the dedicated staff of Silver Springs Care Home for the care and compassion given to me during this sad time. To Father Nick Barry of St Luke’s Church for coming to see me and his comforting words and prayers at the service. Thanks to the Funeral Choir who sang so beautifully, Ollie would have loved that. Trevor passed away peacefully on Monday, 12 March, 2018, in his 83rd year, much-loved husband to Mary, loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather and Dad-in-law. We have to announce our beloved Brian South has died. Brian Hubert South died on Wednesday, 7 March, 2018, after a long illness. A service of thanksgiving is on Tuesday, 27 March. Brian of former West Park Avenue, St Helier was a former Victoria College student and also attended Aquila Road Methodist Chuch. Brian South was a proud Jerseyman Jèrri s’sa tréjous auve mé. Henry and Marion would like to thank family and friends who travelled to Jersey from all around the world to attend John Henry’s funeral service, sent cards, condolence messages and donated to justgiving and the fundraiser in the United Service Club. A big thank you to Sandra Mourat, Jess Riley, and JH’s amazing friends who organised the event. Special thank you to Linda Coyle and Gregg Bremner for their help getting JH’s repatriation back to Jersey and Linda Coyle for her help with all the funeral arrangements. To all of JH’s friends for being there for us at this difficult time.
