Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Clarkson House on Sunday, 20 August, 2017, aged 75 years, beloved husband of Di, loving father of Edward and Kirsty, father-in-law to Elaine, proud and most loving Papa to Jordan, Lauren and Hannah. Anne and the family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all that came to the funeral, we were astounded at the amount of people who came to pay their respects and for all the lovely cards and flowers sent to Anne. Thank you to Father Nick of St Luke’s Church for the lovely service and all his support at this difficult time and to Gareth of Pitcher & Le Quesne for his professionalism and guidance. Thank you also to LV Home Care for all their ongoing support for both Anne and Don over the past few months and finally, to Lakeside Care Home who were able to look after Don until the end.

Jo, family and close friends firstly would like to thank the team at St George’s Hospital, London for their utmost care, the Oncology team, Dr Nigel Bailey, Nicky, Sally, Cathy, Brian, Mags and Perpetua for their care, compassion and more importantly, they got him!! Our sincerest thanks to the Palliative Care team; Lorraine, I would have been lost without you, thank you. The team at Hospice, too many to mention, thank you but my personal thanks to Nina, Eleanor, Judy, Karen and of course Andy for your guidance. The district nurses, the Orchid Care team, RBS for their total understanding through the most difficult time in my life and Gareth and Darren at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their guidance and understanding in getting the service perfect. My grateful thanks to Father Paul Rochman, the service was meaningful and I will not forget you. Hazel and the team at The Royal, St Martin for the most extraordinary send off for Stu. To Kenny, Ellie and Annie, not an easy day for you but I will be forever grateful for your very heartfelt words for Stuart. To everyone who sent flowers, cards, texts and messages of comfort and all in attendance at the funeral, it touched my heart, thank you. And finally to my husband, thank you for being you, your legacy will live on in our hearts forever. ‘NEVER GIVE UP. ‘Love you forever.
