HAMILTON, George Edward (Ted) –

Trudi, Tara & family would like to thank everyone for their support during Ted’s recent poor health & passing. Special thanks to Dr. Jackson who was Ted’s Doctor for many years. To everyone involved from Family Nursing & Home Care. To Fidelia from Able Care for her care towards Ted at home. To Jersey Hospice for their compassion. To Reverend Mark Bond for conducting such a beautiful funeral service. To Paul Battrick MBE & the team from Pitcher & Le Quesne for their support, sympathy and professionalism in organising the funeral arrangements. To everyone who donated to the J.S.P.C.A. in Ted’s memory. Lastly, to everyone who attended the funeral & wake and to all family, friends and colleagues for all their compassion, kindness & support and to everyone who sent cards, messages and flowers.

In cherished memory of a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie, daughter-in-law and sister-in-law who passed away one year ago on 17 December, 2016. Our lives go on without you but nothing is the same, We have to hide our heartache when someone speaks your name. Sad are the hearts that love you, Silent are the tears that fall, Living without you is the hardest part of all. You did so many things for us your heart was so kind and true, And when we needed someone we could always count on you. The special years will not return when we are all together, But with the love in our hearts you will walk with us forever. Words can never say how much we love and miss you.

HARRIS, Nancy

Andy, Jean, Andy, Gordon and families would like to thank everyone for the many cards of sympathy, kind messages and donations to Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey. Thank you also to all family friends including those from bowling, badminton, Le Braye and church who attended the church service in such numbers. Further thanks to Reverend Graeme Halls for a wonderful service and to Gareth and colleagues at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their professional help and guidance for Nancy’s funeral. Also a sincere thank you to all doctors, nurses and staff at Plémont and Corbière Wards who cared for Nancy and finally to our own doctors at Lido Medical Centre who cared for Nancy especially over the latter months of her illness.

DESPRES, Beryl Ruth

Passed away peacefully in the loving care and with all the staff at her side, having spent 43 years at Glenferrie Rest Home, on Tuesday, 12 December, 2017, aged 92 years. So sadly missed by all her friends at Genferrie. Funeral ServiceFriends wishing to attend the funeral service for Beryl are invited to meet at St Helier Parish Church on Wednesday, 20 December at 10 am followed by interment at St Saviour’s Parochial Cemetery. No flowers please, by request. Donations, in lieu of flowers, in memory of Beryl may be sent to Jersey Hospice Care, Clarkson House, Mont Cochon, St Helier, JE2 3JB.
