WAINES, Maureen Carole (née James)

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Maureen, beloved wife, mum, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on Tuesday, 18 June, 2024. She left us peacefully at Treliske, Truro surrounded by her loving family.

Maureen was born on 12 February, 1944 in Bristol. She touched many lives with her kindness, generosity, and boundless spirit.

A resident in Jersey for over twenty years and finally retiring to Cornwall. Maureen was known for her passion for her cats and dogs her unwavering support for other people and her undeniable zest for life. Those who knew her will remember her infectious laugh, her warmth, and the love she generously shared with everyone she met.

Maureen leaves behind her devoted husband of 36 years, Mac her cherished children, Hazel and Caroline (Kai) and a community of friends who felt like family. She will be profoundly missed, not just for her presence, but for the love and joy she brought into our lives.

In keeping with Maureen’s wishes, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT), a cause close to her heart. Contributions can be coordinated through the funeral directors.

Funeral Service

A celebration of Maureen’s life will be held on Tuesday, 2 July, at Camborne Crematorium, at 2.30 pm.

MOLLET, Nicola Joan

Who sadly passed away on 1 July, 2020.

To my darling Nicola,

Time has moved on since your passing. We have all now learned, not through choice, when loosing someone as special as you, it leaves an aching in our hearts that can’t be switched off. We now sadly live with you very much in our hearts, and not with you standing by our sides.

Death changes everything, time changes nothing. I still miss the sound of your voice, the wonderful sound of your laughter, the stories of your life and just being in your presence. So no, time changes nothing. I miss you now as much today as I did the day you passed away.

Sending you all our love as always, Kevin, Ryan, Lauren, Lydia, Josh and both of your amazing grandsons Ronnie and Freddie who you would have loved so much Xxx.
