Passed away unexpectedly in Southampton General Hospital on Tuesday, 10 October, 2017, after a long and courageous battle. Monique, Angela and Desmond wish to thank everyone who sent cards, emails and text messages of sympathy following the loss of their dear Mum, all of which offered support at this very difficult time. Thank you to all for the donations in her memory to Jersey Alzheimer’s. Our gratitude extends also to everyone who attended her funeral, and to Monsignor Nicholas France of St Thomas’ Church for conducting such a lovely service. Thank you to the doctors of Island Medical Centre who cared for Mum over the years and more recently to the nurses of Family Nursing during her final days. Special and sincere thanks to all the staff at Ronceray Care Home who took such wonderful care of Mum and also supported the family during her five-year journey with dementia. Finally, thank you to Steve de Ste Croix of Maillard’s for arranging her funeral and also accompanying our Mum on her final journey to France on Friday, 6 October.

Our beautiful, brave, sister Audrée slipped away from us after a long illness, on Tuesday, 10 October, 2017, at Southampton General Hospital. We are left heartbroken. Forever in our thoughts and will be so greatly missed.

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 12 October, 2017, aged 99 years, mother of Philip and the late Tina, grandmother to Robin, Simon, Nicholas, Charlotte, Rupert and Pippa, great-grandmother of Daniel, Megan, Stefanie, Noah and Harley. Sadly missed.
