Vasco, Ann-Marie and Joanna would like to thank all of the family and friends who attended the celebration of Jackie’s life. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Mr Hilal and Dr Moses Duku who embarked upon this journey with us five years ago, to the staff on Sorel Ward, we thank you for your kindness, compassion and dedication. Our thanks also go to Dr Amanda Jones, Dr David Jackson, as well as Kate from the Diabetes Team and Jay from Family Nursing, all of whom went above and beyond the call of duty. Passed away peacefully at Hospice on Sunday, 30 April, 2017, age 71 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, his brothers Edward and David, sisters Enid, Violet and Ivey, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ken, Mick, Ruth, Zena, David and Lynne, all his friends from church and Grève de Lecq, work mates from Ronez, fishing mates, neighbours and others. Our lovely Mum passed away peacefully at Lakeside Care Home on Tuesday, 2 May, 2017, in her 96th year with Anne and Sue beside her, she is now at peace with her beloved husband, Fred and her much-loved son-in-law, Brian. She leaves her three daughters, Anne, Pamela and Susan and her sons-in-law, David, Malcolm and Garry, she was a loving Nanny to her 8 grandchildren and her 20 great- and great-great-grandchildren. We will miss you so much Mum but we are so lucky to have had you in our lives for so long. Sleep peacefully, Mum.
