BARTER, Susan Ann

Passed away peacefully at Jersey Hospice on Monday, 4 September, 2017, aged 61 years. She will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends. In accordance with Sue’s wishes, this JEP notification of her death is published after the funeral service has taken place. Bernice, Emma and Chris would like to thank everyone who attended Shorty’s funeral, sent flowers, cards and Telephoned messages of sympathy, these were all such a great comfort. A big thank you to his life-long friends who were with him through the good and bad times, and finally to all the people Shorty met throughout his life, who shaped his way, made his life full and made him who he was. Passed away at Jersey Hospice on Monday, 18 September, 2017, after a long illness borne with great courage. Throughout the whole time Hospice have given wonderful support and loving and professional care. Dearly loved and will be much missed by partner Peter, her family in Italy, and many friends in Jersey and elsewhere. As Susan wished, a private funeral has taken place and her ashes will be scattered with those of her beloved late husband Gilberto.
