Passed away peacefully in the care of St Joseph’s Care Home on Wednesday, 4 September, 2024, aged 74 years, adored wife to Tony, much-loved Mum to Lisa, Paul and Robert, Jenny will be missed by all her family and friends.

Jenny’s funeral service will take place on Thursday, 26 September at 1 pm in the Crematorium Chapel.

PERRIER, Kenneth John

Passed away after a short illness at Lakeside Care Home on Tuesday, 10 September, 2024, aged 88 years, beloved husband to the late Gladys, dearly loved Dad to Arthur, Carol and the late David, and father-in-law to Rose and Terry, adored Grandpa to Kira and Matthew and their partners Ryan and Megan. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

HALL, Alfred (Honky)

The family wish to thank all those who attended Alfred’s celebration of life on Wednesday, 4 September. The service was held at St Saviour’s Parish Church, warmly conducted by the Reverend Tracy Le C Bromley and the Reverend Georgie Phillips. It was an amazing tribute to Alfred’s long life of 102 years which was followed by a private committal at the crematorium. Our grateful thanks also, to the organist Mr Francis Murton, Nic Turner and St Saviour’s Church choir, and the funeral choir, Thérése Tabb and Pat Guègan for their readings, Loxie Farr-Hall (Cello), Marcel Channing and John Pearse (Drums). Our sincere thanks go to Shane Hatherley and the team at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for their compassion and professionalism shown throughout. The family would also like to thank all the staff at St Joseph’s Residential Home who looked after Alfred (Alfredo) with much-love and dedicated care over the years.

ABERY, David

Aged 61 years.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David at his home in Jersey, loving son of the late Bill and Olive Abery. He will leave a huge void in the lives of his partner Selina and her daughter Jess. Dearest and beloved ‘Bruv’ to Julie, Carol, Pauline, Andrew and Michael. David will be deeply missed by all his extended family and his many friends both in Jersey, South Africa and across the world.

A private cremation will take place, followed by a celebration of David’s life, for all his family and friends, details of this will follow in due course.
