We deeply appreciate the kindness of family, friends and ex colleagues who sent flowers, cards and messages of condolence. A special thank you to the paramedics and police for their kindness and compassion, to Julian and the team at Maillards for the professional and caring way they handled the funeral arrangements and so much more, to Julie for officiating Bob’s funeral service with such warmth, to Keith from the Royal British Legion for his tribute ‘For the Fallen’ and to Sue for the beautiful family floral tributes. We are also incredibly grateful to Dr Sean Ryan and the staff at Route du Fort surgery for their care of Bob over the years. Finally, our thanks to everyone who may have donated to Holidays for Heroes in Bob’s memory, a charity which was close to his heart. Bob was a very special man who will always be sadly missed but the love and support we have been shown has been a great comfort to us all during this sad time.
Passed away unexpectedly at Bristol Royal Infirmary on Friday, 25 April, 2025, aged 58 years, beloved son of the late Kay and Nigel Rault. Brian will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
