Passed away peacefully at Oak Ward on Wednesday, 5 April, 2017, aged 83 years, with Robert (Bob) by her side, after a long fight with dementia and cancer, loving wife of 58 years to Robert, Mum to Juliet and Carl, mother-in-law to Kevin and Lisa, Granny to Mark, Emma, Honor and Jasmine. God saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered ‘come with me’. With tearful eyes we watched you slowly fade away, Although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, Your beautiful smile at rest, It’s lonesome here without you, However we know you are by our side. And now it’s time to hand you back to Dad’s open arms. Goodnight Mum, sweet dreams, you are loved more than words can say and will always be in our hearts. Love you forever Mum.
