Died peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday, 18 October, 2016, aged 83 years, dearly loved husband of Jo, father to Francis, Vivienne, Samantha and Simon, adored Grandpa to Harry, James, Max, Lucy, Heather, Martha, Will, Hobbesy, Alex, Georgina and Jack.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service of Geoffrey are invited to meet at the Chapel of the Little Sisters, St John’s Road, on Tuesday, 1 November at noon, followed by a private committal. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu of flowers, in memory of Geoffrey can be sent to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Beta Centre, Stirling University Innovation Park, Stirling, FK9 9NF (www. bumblebee conservation. org). Brian and Sara would like to thank everyone who attended Anne’s funeral and those who made donations in her memory. Heartfelt thanks also to Dr Bailhache and Imelda Noonan of Jersey Hospice and the team of amazing staff who treated Anne with such kindness and afforded her such dignity. Thanks also to the wonderful team at Karen’s Carers, Family Nursing and Dr Christine Budd. Thank you to the Rev Debbie Godefroy for a lovely service and to Steve de Ste Croix and Maillard’s for their support and kindness. We are grateful most of all for the love and support, kind words and beautiful memories expressed by our dear friends and family for Anne. Her kindness, infectious laugh and sense of fun will remain in our hearts forever.

BUTCHER, Robert

Passed away after a long illness in Bundaberg, Australia on Wednesday, 19 October, 2016, aged 58 years, adored son of the late Sidney and Marjorie Butcher. He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his sisters and brother, Gillian, Patricia, Michael and Sheila. He was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews and a wonderful companion to his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law. His family, friends and work colleagues in both Jersey and Australia will cherish many wonderful memories of this kind and loving gentleman.
