Rosamond ‘Ros’, Peter, Tania and Sophie would like to thank most sincerely all those who so kindly sent cards or letters of condolence following John’s passing on Saturday, 24 December, 2016, which have been such a comfort. Our grateful thanks to the Reverend Debbie Godefroy for the very compassionate and understanding way in which she conducted the service of our family’s Thanksgiving for John’s life. Our most sincere gratitude to Dr Kirsi Jaakola for the care, compassion and understanding she showed to John in his latter years. Our sincere thanks to Orchid Care Services and Family Nursing & Home Care for all they did for John. Our grateful thanks to Lakeside Manor Care Home for their care to John and to the team of the General Hospital’s AEU ward who did everything they possibly could for John in such a caring and compassionate way. We shall never forget the gentle and loving care John received from Hospice and such kindness shown to our family. We thank most sincerely Paul Battrick MBE of Pitcher & Le Quesne for dealing with the arrangements in such a sensitive, understanding and caring way.

CADEC, Thelma Isobel (née Gavey)

Thelma’s family would like to thank all relatives and friends who sent cards and letters of condolence and all who attended the funeral service.
