AHIER, Alice Louise Georgette (née Huchet)
Passed away in the tender care of Jersey Hospice on Friday, 23 December, 2016 aged 93 years, with her beloved Julie, Mandy, David and Leslie by her side. Dear Mum, you are free from all your pain. We will love you until our last breath and the moon and the stars forget to shine. Sleep in heavenly peace.
Relatives and friends wishing to attend the service for Alice are invited to meet at St Martin’s Parish Church on Thursday, 5 January at 1 pm. Passed peacefully away, aged 80, in the incomparable loving care of Jersey Hospice on Saturday, 24 December, 2016, after a short illness so bravely fought, with his family by his side. Loving and cherished husband of 58 years of Rosamond (Ros) Cubitt (née Sowden), loved and loving father of Peter, Tania and Sophie, such a loving and wise Grandpa so dearly loved, of Jonathon, George, Eleisha, Charlotte, Sarah and Emily, the dearly loved only child of the late Mr AOS (Stan) Rice and the late Mrs Ruth Sybil Messenger, formerly Rice, (née Hearne) (“Mrs M”).
At John’s wish, a private family service and cremation will take place. Family flowers only.
