Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service of Royston are invited to meet at St Martin’s Catholic Church on Monday, 5 December, at 2 pm followed by interment at St Martin’s Catholic Cemetery. There was no time to say goodbye. We are so sad at the loss of a dear sister-in-law and auntie. Our thoughts and prayers are with Stephen, Mandy, Karen and their families.

COUTANCHE, Robin Langlois (Rob)

Sincere thanks to everyone who attended the memorial service for the late Rob at St Lawrence Church following his recent tragic death in New Zealand. To Rev Canon D Shaw MBE who conducted a beautiful service, to Paul Le Breton for recording it all to send to the family in New Zealand. A special thank you also to the Constable of St Lawrence for the use of the Parish Hall afterwards and to all who sent condolences in so many ways. Grateful thanks for all who sent donations to Jersey Cancer Relief in memory of Rob and to Andy Errington-Rennell of Pitcher & Le Quesne for his help in co-ordinating all the arrangements in our efforts to remember Rob’s life.

Passed away peacefully at Silver Springs Care Home, with her beloved husband and son at her side, on Thursday, 24 November, 2016, aged 84 years, beloved wife of Eddie, adored mother of Graham and his partner Hayley, step-mother to David and Gary, loving grandmother to Octavian. TURNER, Catherine Elizabeth (née Hill)

Jason, Rosemarie, Stuart, Vicky and the wider family wish to thank all relatives, friends and colleagues for their kindness, comfort and support in their recent bereavement. So many sent letters and cards with memories of our beloved Catherine. Our thanks to the wonderful caring people in Grenada and to British Airways who ensured our speedy and safe return, with Catherine, to Jersey. Thank you to all who attended the funeral mass (in such great numbers) led by Monsignor Nicholas France who offered heartfelt words of comfort at this difficult time. We were uplifted by the music and singing and thank everyone involved. Special thanks to Paul and Pitcher & Le Quesne for the personal and professional care of all the funeral arrangements. RIP.
